Naturally, out of the box the system supports the world's most widely used encoding standard, the Extended Danish Data Model. As other standards are adopted, EnvisionWare guarantees a seamless migration path.
EnvisionWare Mobile Conversion Station
Pictured at the right, the EnvisionWare Mobile Conversion Station provides the ultimate in versatility and performance in a portable encoding system. The Station is height-adjustable, from sitting to a full standing height, using an auto-glide mechanism that moves up and down with ease using a foot release. The display is actually our All-In-One Touch Screen PC with keyboard and mouse, coupled with the EnvisionWare RFID Reader/Antenna, Conversion Software, Barcode Scanner, and auto-feed tag dispenser.
While mobile carts are most often used for conversion, they can be ideal temporary circulation stations when opening a new building or even serve as roving reference stations. As with all EnvisionWare solutions, our systems can be configured for your unique requirements.
The Mobile Conversion Station is available for use with the included power cord or with a built-in battery system that powers the conversion station for portable use in the stacks. Appearance is nearly identical for both systems.
Naturally, you can add one of our RFID tag printers so that you can customize the appearance and content of your tags, or purchase our high quality Araphyde™ tags. We deliver tags from stock with or without custom printing.

Whether separately or as part of our conversion carts, the high performance tag printer/encoder is a best of
breed component of the Renaissance Suite.
The printer offers encoding at ISO-compliant 13.56 MHz for powerful but short-range readability. Offering an unprecedented level of on-demand printing and clea, crisp printing from the first label to the last. Customize your tags, change designs with ease, and print sequential or dynnamically read barcodes or human-readable item IDs with ease. Not just a printer, this system encodes to the Danish Data Model standard. Built in reporting keeps track of statistics. Read after write assures that all tags printed are encoded and completely functional.

RFID Conversion Software
Standards-Based
Because EnvisionWare is fully committed to open standards, our conversion software supports todays open Danish Data Model and will provide an upgrade path to emerging ISO standards upon release.
Fast and Versatile
EnvisionWare's powerful conversion software is designed to offer versatility and speed. Select from the
complete line of EnvisionWare RFID readers plus options for legacy hardware. Use the touch screen images (used with the Mobile Conversion Station) or the keyboard shortcut keys which offer Function Key support.
Once you Start a Session, print items simply require placing material on the barcode scanner. A tag is encoded in milliseconds. The library defaults for library name, country, item type, and circulation status are defaulted for you.
When ready to encode a tag for reference material, simply touch the screen or a key to select non-circulating material and then scan the item barcode. For media, select the media type. If the media is considered part of a set (such as media and cover; media, booklet and cover; or multiple discs) select the number of items in the set and the software will encode all of the tags at once.
Tagging / conversion / migration couldn't be easier thanks to a speedy and intuitive interface. And because our system was written based on industry standards, you are assured that your tags will be 100% compliant with the open standard you choose for encoding.
