Bowral, New South Wales Jo-Anne Shaw, Director of Asia Pacific Operations, announced today that Wingecarribee Shire Council library has signed an agreement to migrate to the EnvisionWare Renaissance OPEN STANDARD RFID system. Wingecarribee is the first public library in the Asia Pacific region to adopt EnvisionWare Renaissance.
The Library had begun conversion of the collection using a proprietary approach. Upon learning of EnvisionWare’s new APAC Regional Centre for sales, support, and development, coupled with the Company’s commitment to OPEN standards, the Council stopped the encoding to move to Renaissance. Susie Thorpe, Sales Manager for Asia Pacific, processed the signed agreement just hours ago in Australia.
